Farfan values the privacy of individuals who use our Website. This privacy policy
describes how Job Seekers' and Employers' personal information is collected,
used, and shared when you visit Canadajobs.com (the “Site”)
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your
device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and
some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you
browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or
products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site,
and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this
automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or
computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more

For Employers, additionally, when you post a position or attempt to post a
position through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including
your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (if
applicable), email address, and phone/fax number. We refer to this information
as “Personal Information.” This information is required to verify
the validity of job postings and for the security of our Job Seekers. This
information will only be used to generate your posting. We do not rent, sell, or
share e-mail or postal mail lists.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we
are talking both about Device Information and Employer Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders
placed through the Site (including processing your payment information,
arranging for the posting of your positions onto Canadajobs.com, and providing
you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order
Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and When in line with the
preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or
advertising relating to our products or services.
- We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for
potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more
generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating
analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to
assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your
Personal Information, as described above.

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Web

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your
information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if
you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate

DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information
for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

trademarks of their respective owners. Farfan has attempted throughout the
site to capitalize or follow the capitalization style used by the manufacturer
to distinguish terms that are known to be trademarks or service marks. Use
of any term on this site should not be taken as a affecting the validity of any
trademark or service mark. Farfan cannot attest to the accuracy of this
information.
Usage
Use of this site implies acceptance of the terms.
Employers posting positions with this site agree to the terms. We reserve
the right to accept or decline any potential advertisement and/or job posting.
We may refuse service to anyone, cancel orders, or terminate accounts at any
time at our sole discretion. Accounts cannot be used to post positions for
a person, business, or entity who has previously been refused an account or
posting. Fees are non-refundable. Pricing is subject to change.
As a service to our employers and visitors, some postings (especially with short
job descriptions) may instead be posted to our Facebook page in our sole
discretion.
Errors in postings should be brought to our attention within three days of
publication, and will be extended by the time in which they were incorrect.
Should the World Wide Web server or the site be non-operational for any reason,
Farfan’s responsibility is limited to a credit of 1/30th of the
monthly fee each day until the information on the server is
restored.
This agreement and usage of the site shall be governed by
the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada without regard to its conflict of
law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction
of the courts located within the Province of Ontario, Canada.
