Job Title:

Permanent, full-time
32–40 hours per week
$16.40–$18.00/hour, based on experience
Goup insurance benefits available after 6 months
Morning, evening, weekends and shift work
Start as soon as possible

Experience:

• 1 year to less than 2 years of professional cooking experience

Education:

• No degree, certificate or diploma required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes;
  Work various kitchen stations including grill and fryer;
• Prepare food for service;
• Follow recipes and portion standards;
• Maintain food-safety and sanitation standards;
• Ensure quality and consistency of meals;
  Work efficiently during busy meal periods;
• Assist with kitchen opening, closing and cleaning duties.

Requirements/Assets:

• Food Safety Certificate
• WHMIS training/certificate
• Ability to work:
  • In a fast-paced environment
  • Independently and as part of a team
• Available for a combination of morning, evening and weekend shifts
