Vernon Alliance Church is seeking a full-time Ministry Administrative Support person to provide administrative and organizational support to the Pastor of Discipleship & Care and the Pastor of Intergenerational Ministries. This role supports groups, care ministries, young families, 55+ ministries and other discipleship initiatives. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, relational, and able to manage multiple priorities while supporting volunteers, events, communications, and ministry systems.

Working Relationships
- Works closely with and supports the Pastor of Discipleship & Care and the Pastor of Intergenerational Ministries
- Collaborates with ministry staff, volunteers, and broader church to support ministry objectives and church-wide initiatives
Position Status
- Part-time up to 30 hours per week
- Occasional evening or weekend availability to support ministry events or seasonal initiatives
Position Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for Discipleship, Care, and Intergenerational Ministries
- Coordinate registrations, communications, scheduling, and logistics for ministry events, classes, and special initiatives
- Maintain ministry records, databases, forms, and documentation
- Prepare reports, correspondence, meeting notes, and ministry resources as required
- Support volunteer onboarding processes, including applications, reference checks, policy compliance, and follow-up
- Maintain volunteer records and assist with volunteer communication and scheduling
- Manage Planning Center workflows, registrations, forms, and ministry-related databases
- Prepare materials, supplies, and resources needed for ministry activities and events
- Assist with event planning, room bookings, purchasing, and participant communication
- Support communication strategies, ministry promotions, and follow-up processes that help people connect into groups, care ministries, intergenerational programs, and discipleship initiatives
Wage per hour : $20 - $22.50
