Term of employment: Full-time, Permanent Position
Job location: Travel across Canada and USA with base at 109 292164 Wagon Wheel Blvd, Rocky View County AB T4A 3P8
Shifts: Weekdays, Weekends, Evenings
Salary: $37.50 per hour for 40 hours per week, overtime after 60 hours per week at the rate of 1.5 times.

Job requirements:

Credentials: Class 1 or A driver's license with air brake endorsement.
Education: High School
Experience: No experience requiredOn the job training will be provided
Additional Skills: Basic English is required to understand road signs and fill logbook
Be able to work in individuals or in a team
Clean driving abstract

Duties:

Operate and drive trucks /trailer to transport goods and material to destinations all over Canada and USA.
Oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment, loading and unloading, and safety and security of cargo.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment.
Maintain logbook, record cargo information, distance travelled, fuel consumption and other information in logbook.
Obtain special permits to cross Canada/USA borders.
Coordinate with dispatcher.
Perform emergency roadside repairs.
