Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Start date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend, Night

Overview:

Requirements:

Languages: English
Education: Some High School required.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required.

Work Setting: Food service establishment, Coffee shop

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $19.50 / Hour for 35 - 40 Hours / Week

Responsibilities:

Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food;
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies;
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards;
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage;
Prepare and submit reports; Supervise and check assembly of trays;
Address customers’ complaints or concerns;
Establish work schedules; Establish methods to meet work schedules;
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures;
May perform same duties as those supervised.

Supervision: 1-4 people; food service counter attendants and food preparers.
