Spa Therapist

Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa is seeking four Spa Therapists for placement at the spa location at 4359 Main Street, Whistler, BC. This is a permanent full-time position.

Main duties include:

Providing traditional Javanese massage
Providing traditional healing treatments
Providing traditional and western body care treatments
Providing esthetic services such as manicures, pedicures, facials and waxing
Schedule and confirm appointments and receive payments

Requirements:

Candidates must have a vocational certificate in spa therapy or massage therapy; and
Minimum 1 year of professional appropriate massage spa experience, preferably with Javanese style massage treatment.

Salary:

$38.50 per hour for minimum 30 hr/wk.
Overtime and vacation in accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act.
Employees have the option to take employer arranged accommodations in shared house (rent $1,200/month, including room and utilities. Optional meal plan is also available. Costs payable to the employer).

Language:

No particular language is needed to perform this work; however, basic English language or Javanese language is an asset.
