Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Requirements:

  • Current registration with CMRTO
  • Current registration with ARDMS and/or Sonography Canada
  • Minimum 1 year experience in sonography
  • Preferred experience with cycle monitoring, follicle tracking, infertility ultrasounds including TA/TV scans, early OBs, and Sonohysterograms

Schedule:

  • Full-Time
  • Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm
  • Saturday morning shifts available
  • Afternoon shifts available at our Georgetown location

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for imaging while maintaining infection control policies
  • Obtain high quality, diagnostic images and communicate accurate information through appropriate documentation on images and technical impression worksheets
  • Perform gynecological and obstetrical ultrasounds such as complete female assessment
  • Provide full commitment to patient-centered care and sensitivity to individual needs and concerns
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
  • Demonstrate effective time management, decision making skills, and problem solving abilities
  • Candidate must be punctual, flexible with hours, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

COVID-19 Considerations & Safety Guidelines:

All Halton Fertility team members must follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of staff and patients. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided (gowns, masks, gloves, sanitizer, etc.)
