Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the flow of information.
  • Interview patients to obtain case histories.
  • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Train staff in procedures and in use of current software.
  • Complete insurance and other claim forms.
  • Maintain filing system.
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines.
  • Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review.
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess client feedback, enquiries and complaints in the delivery of meaningful information and services.
  • Send invoices.
  • Provide basic information to clients and the public.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
  • Obtain and process information required to provide customer service.
  • Implement marketing activities.
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas.
  • Conduct surveys.
  • Calculate billing charges.
  • Book appointments.
  • Arrange for billing for services.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages.
  • Receive and issue payments.
  • Help physical therapists.
  • Coordinate patient care.
  • Compile data to prepare documents.

  • MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Salary: $27.25 hourly / 30-40 hours per Week

Terms of Employment:

Requirements / Skills:

  • Languages: English

Education:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years

Workplace information:

  • Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
