Job Description:
- Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
- Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress
- Prepare reports
- Operate audio-visual equipment
- Conduct course and program evaluation or review
- Deliver lectures and presentations
- Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies
- Prepare and deliver a broad range of health and safety training programs
- Maintain training equipment and inventory materials
- Develop training curriculum and update course materials
- Support administrative function and client outreach
- May drive between clients’ locations
Requirements
- Education: Completion of secondary education is required
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the field is required
- Experience as an adult educator is required.
- Must have certifications prior to delivering the same curriculum. Our company will assist the worker obtaining the required certifications.
- Knowledge of health and safety is required due to the nature of the training.
- Experience managing large groups, with strong communication skills.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to supervise up to 20 people.

Computer skills: Competent and familiar with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses:
- Formal personnel management training or experience
- Administrative and supervisory training or experience
- Familiarity with training program auditing process
- Aptitude for delivering train-the-trainer programs
- Valid Standard First Aid/CPR Level C or higher
- Hazardous materials training
- Manual handling training
Salary: $41.21 hourly, 40 hours per week
