Job duties:

• Manage import and distribution operations of agricultural products (mainly avocados) from Mexico to Canada.
• Oversee supplier relationships and coordinate logistics with exporters and transport companies.
• Handle client relations, purchase orders, and sales coordination with Canadian buyers.
• Prepare and review invoices, import documentation, and customs compliance.
• Manage inventory, quality control, and warehouse procedures.
• Lead a small team and ensure all company operations run efficiently and on schedule.

Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.

The language of work: English.

Wage: $44.72 per hour.

Skills requirements:

Required education:

• Completion of secondary school (high school).

Required work experience:

• Several years of related retail or wholesale sales experience at increasing levels of responsibility.
• At least 1 year of experience in import/export operations and logistics.
• Experience managing international shipments, preferably from Mexico to Canada.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, exporters, freight forwarders, and transport companies.
• Must have a solid background in inventory management, quality control, and warehouse operations.
• Hands-on experience handling purchase orders, invoicing, and import documentation.
• Knowledge of customs compliance and regulatory requirements for agricultural or perishable products.
• Previous experience leading a small operations team
• Experience working directly with Canadian clients or buyers.
• Experience working within the Mexican avocado industry is preferred.
