Job duties:
- Manage day-to-day business operations, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately andefficiently by employees.
- Plan and direct the business strategy and goals of the company.
- Hire, train, manage, and motivate a high-performing team of employees dedicated toperforming daily business functions and achieving company goals.
- Mentor employees on best practices in customer service and sales techniques, leading toincreased performance levels.
- Manage the financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, financial reporting, andtax preparation.
- Enhance the operational efficiency and productivity of the business by managing budgets,accounts, and costs; and by managing inventory.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers for better pricing and terms, thereby reducing overallcosts for the business.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, resulting in repeat business and newbusiness referrals.
- Deal with any client complaints and resolve any client problems.
- Consult with clients to assess their needs and propose optimal solutions to them.
Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.

Skills requirements:
Required education:
- College diploma in management or a related field.
Required work experience and skills:
- 3 years of experience in the cleaning/janitorial services industry.
- 6 months of experience as a manager or 2 years of experience as a supervisor.
- 6 months of financial management experience, including experience with budgeting. financial reporting, tax preparation, accounts management, and cost reduction.
- Exceptional communicator and project manager with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple, competing priorities in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
- Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve issues, focusing on process optimization and achieving team goals.
- Client relationship management skills and experience.
- Operations management skills and experience.
- Experience with negotiating contracts.
- Training and mentorship skills and experience.
- Experience with process improvement: enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification is preferred but not required.
