Job duties:

  • Manage day-to-day business operations, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately andefficiently by employees.
  • Plan and direct the business strategy and goals of the company.
  • Hire, train, manage, and motivate a high-performing team of employees dedicated toperforming daily business functions and achieving company goals.
  • Mentor employees on best practices in customer service and sales techniques, leading toincreased performance levels.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, financial reporting, andtax preparation.
  • Enhance the operational efficiency and productivity of the business by managing budgets,accounts, and costs; and by managing inventory.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers for better pricing and terms, thereby reducing overallcosts for the business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, resulting in repeat business and newbusiness referrals.
  • Deal with any client complaints and resolve any client problems.
  • Consult with clients to assess their needs and propose optimal solutions to them.

Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.

Wage: $36.80 per hour.

Skills requirements:

Required education:

  • College diploma in management or a related field.

Required work experience and skills:

  • 3 years of experience in the cleaning/janitorial services industry.
  • 6 months of experience as a manager or 2 years of experience as a supervisor.
  • 6 months of financial management experience, including experience with budgeting. financial reporting, tax preparation, accounts management, and cost reduction.
  • Exceptional communicator and project manager with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple, competing priorities in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve issues, focusing on process optimization and achieving team goals.
  • Client relationship management skills and experience.
  • Operations management skills and experience.
  • Experience with negotiating contracts.
  • Training and mentorship skills and experience.
  • Experience with process improvement: enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification is preferred but not required.
