We are currently seeking experienced Journeymen Reinforcing Ironworkers to join our team for major infrastructure, commercial, and high-rise projects in Victoria and surrounding areas, British Columbia.

Job Duties
This role will be responsible for the following duties:
- Place and secure rebar on commercial, residential and infrastructure projects in horizontal and vertical formworks
- Identify the different sizes, lengths and bend types of rebar
- Perform physical work like packing, tying and cutting rebar with specialty tools for the trade and placing rebar chairs appropriately
- Read and interpret detail sheets and drawings
- Work with apprentices
- Work around various cranes and at heights with positioning equipment
- Must be safety conscious and follow all LMS safety protocols
Skills and Experience Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in reinforcing steel installation.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and blueprints.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a construction crew.
- Journeyman certificate, issued in Canada, or a Red Seal certificate as a reinforcing ironworker is considered an asset

Additional information
- Wage: $37/hour. Overtime may be available based on project needs and will be paid in accordance with applicable employment standards.

- Location of work: Work will be performed in person at construction project sites in Victoria, BC. Candidates from across Canada may apply if they are willing to relocate or travel to Victoria for the position.
