Private household in Edmonton, Alberta is seeking a reliable, caring, and responsible Child Caregiver to provide full-time care for children in the employer’s home. The caregiver will assist with daily childcare needs, maintain a safe and healthy environment, and support the children’s well-being and development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in employer’s home
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Assist children with daily routines, hygiene, and activities
- Organize educational and recreational activities for children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare
- Accompany children to school, appointments, or outdoor activities if required
- Follow parents’ instructions regarding childcare and household routines
Requirements
- Secondary school completion preferred
- Experience caring for children is an asset
- Reliable, patient, and responsible
- Ability to work independently in a private household setting
- CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
- Criminal record check may be required
