Drywall Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing drywall panels in residential or commercial construction projects, ensuring smooth finishes and high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to walls and ceilings
• Secure panels to wood or metal framing using screws or nails
• Tape, mud, and finish seams and joints between drywall panels
• Sand surfaces to create a smooth finish ready for painting
• Repair and patch damaged drywall as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a drywall installer or similar role
• Knowledge of drywall installation techniques and finishing methods
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
• Comfortable working at heights (ladders/scaffolding)
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Valid driver’s license (optional, if required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial or large-scale projects
• Familiarity with insulation and soundproofing installation
• Certification or apprenticeship in drywall or construction trades

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor construction environments
• Exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures
• Requires standing, bending, lifting, and climbing
