Farm Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Farm Supervisor to oversee daily operations on our farm in Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating crop and/or livestock activities, and ensuring efficient, safe, and productive farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of farm workers
• Plan and monitor planting, cultivating, and harvesting schedules
• Oversee livestock care (if applicable), including feeding, health monitoring, and breeding
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and farm policies
• Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease control measures
• Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and staff performance
• Assist with budgeting and resource planning

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience in farming or agricultural supervision
• Strong knowledge of crop production and/or livestock management
• Ability to operate farm equipment safely
• Leadership and team management skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and seasonal peaks
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5; Class 1A is an asset)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with modern agricultural technology (GPS equipment, farm software)
• Mechanical skills for equipment maintenance
• First Aid certification (asset)
