Job Title:

Senior (Elderly) Caregiver

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to elderly individuals in an in home setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for senior through attentive and respectful care. This role involves working closely with client to meet their physical, emotional, and personal needs while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as eating, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
• Support with light housekeeping and outdoor tasks such as cleaning and laundry to ensure a safe living environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
• Assist with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Document care provided and report any changes in health or behavior to supervising staff
• Support client with health issue through specialized caregiving techniques
• Follow all safety protocols related to medication administration and infection control including being up to date with vaccinations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home or home care is preferred
• Knowledge of senior care and working with individuals with health anxieties is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs safely
• Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Basic knowledge of medication administration and patient care procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and emotional resilience
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required; willingness to obtain certification is preferred

Payment: 17.60$ per hour
