Chef

Kosoo Restaurant located Vancouver downtown, is currently seeking a qualified Chef.

Work Address: 832 Cardero Street, Vancouver, BC V6G 2G5

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30~40 hours per week)

Wage:  $33~$35 per hour

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation
• Completion of Secondary School.
• English ability (able to communicate) is required

 

Main Job Duties:

• Plan menus and create new menu and new side dish or sauce recipes
• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events or special guests
• Plan food preparation and cooking activities
• Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
• Supervise cooks and kitchen staff
• Instruct cooks in cooking and presentation of food
• Consult customers regarding special arrangement
