Head Chef

Q’s restaurant is currently looking for a committed individual to join us as full time Head Chef.

Location: 1402 Hwy 1 Frontage Rd, Golden, British Columbia V0A 1H0

Position: Head Chef, full-time, permanent

Wage: $34~$36.70 per hour, 30 hours per week

 

Responsibilities:

• Plan food preparation and menu and requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
• Create food displays for special events and negotiate with clients for special functions.
• Supervise activities of cooks
• Estimate food requirements, food and labor cost
• Ensure and control food and service to meet quality standards

 

Job Requirement:

• 3 years of work experience in commercial food preparation
• Completion of High School
• Able to communicate in English
