SYK Enterprises Ltd. dba Yama Sushi is looking for an experienced and skilled First Cook. We are located in North Vancouver, BC.
Business Address: 1232 Ross Road, North Vancouver, BC Canada
Working Hours: Full-Time, Permanent position (30~40 hours a week)
Wage: $24~$26/hour
Main Duties:
- Prepare and cook cuisine from the menu
- Assist in planning menus and determine size of food portions
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling food
- Supervise kitchen staffs
- Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
- Monitor and order supplies, ingredient and equipment
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Prepare buffets and banquets when needed
Requirements:
- 3 years of commercial cooking experience
- High school diploma or higher
- Ability to communicate in English
