Gabi & Jules Handmade Pies & Baked Goodness is hiring part-time team members for barista, customer service, and farmers market roles—primarily based at our Port Moody location (2302B Clarke Street). All team members should also be comfortable working at our Burnaby location (4568 Hastings Street) when needed.

About You

You’re someone who genuinely loves connecting with people and creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

You love pies (but who doesn’t?) and enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with others
You have a passion for great customer service
Café experience is an asset—especially if you’ve worked with a semi-automatic espresso machine
You’re friendly, outgoing, and a strong communicator
You can multitask, stay organized, and work independently
You take pride in your work and have a strong work ethic
You’re comfortable lifting up to 20 lbs and are open to working farmers markets

What You’ll Do

Greet every customer with warmth and provide engaging, thoughtful service
Learn our products inside and out so you can confidently share recommendations
Serve pies, pastries, coffee, and tea
Develop your barista skills—pulling great espresso shots, steaming milk, and eventually creating latte art
Maintain a clean and welcoming front-of-house (yes, that includes mopping and sweeping!)

Shifts & Availability

Daytime shifts between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday through Sunday (farmers market shifts may vary slightly)

Requirements

High school graduate (weekday daytime availability is required)
Must be available to work at least two days per week, including Sundays
A valid driver’s license is preferred (required for farmers market shifts)
