Driven Island Agencies is seeking a knowledgeable and service-driven Commercial Fleet Account Executive who is excited to join our growing team and deliver outstanding service to our clients. You?ll play a key role in driving informed decision-making, fostering collaboration, and maintaining accurate, well-organized data, all within a culture that values professional growth and continuous learning. This is an opportunity for an Autoplan broker to specialize in commercial fleet accounts and grow into a senior commercial role.

Job Type: In Office (5 Days), Full Time, Permanent

Work Address: 103-6551 Aulds Rd, Nanaimo, BC

Pay Range: Starting from $60,000 annually

What You Will Do:

In this role, you will specialize in ICBC fleet and commercial auto programs, as well as garage policies, providing expert guidance to businesses that operate multiple vehicles?such as contractors, transportation companies, delivery services, and other commercial operators?when placing fleet and commercial auto coverage.

Commercial Autoplan Expertise:

• Provide expert guidance on ICBC Commercial Autoplan, Fleet programs, and commercial vehicle insurance.
• Advise clients on coverage options including liability limits, endorsements, and fleet structuring.
• Assist businesses with fleet additions, vehicle changes, transfers, and compliance requirements.

Fleet Account Management:

• Manage renewals and mid-term changes for commercial fleet clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet owners, operators, and business managers.
• Review client operations to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.

Sales & Growth:

• Support new business opportunities within commercial auto and fleet accounts.
• Cross-sell additional products including commercial packages, and travel or specialty auto lines when appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to grow and retain a book of business.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with our Front lines teams in Personal Lines, Road Service, and Commercial Lines.
• Provide support and technical knowledge related to fleet and commercial autoplan.
• Maintain accurate documentation and policy records within the brokerage management system

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of ICBC Autoplan experience required; Commercial Autoplan or Fleet experience strongly preferred.
• Level 1 Insurance License (General Insurance ? BC) required; Level 2 License or progress toward CAIB or CIP designation is an asset.
• Experience with Applied Epic or similar broker management systems is an asset; comfortable working with multiple insurer and ICBC platforms.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills with high attention to detail and strong organizational ability; able to work independently and within a team.
• Professional, reliable, and client-focused; comfortable in a fast-paced environment and motivated to build expertise in commercial auto and fleet insurance.
