Laurel Education Inc. is an Ontario-based education organization that operates several education-related institutions and services including private boarding school, private school consulting, tutoring and academic support, after-school programs, testing services, language education, university and college recruitment, and international visa consulting.
We are currently seeking an experienced Director to oversee and coordinate the operations of all divisions.
Position Details
Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
Location: 55 Dickson St, Cambridge, ON, N1R 7A5, Canada
Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time
Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 per year
Benefit: Health related benefits will be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic objectives and long-term development plans for the organization and establish policies to support institutional goals.
- Provide leadership and direction for administrative operations, supervising the school principal and administrative staff to ensure effective program delivery.
- Manage operational budgets and financial controls while overseeing financial, human, and material resources.
- Supervise key operational areas including administration, marketing, and student or client services.
- Participate in recruiting and hiring teachers with the management team and provide oversight to maintain strong academic and operational standards.
- Coordinate organizational activities to ensure policies, programs, and schedules are implemented effectively.
- Oversee facility management and maintenance to maintain a safe and functional learning environment.
- Represent the corporation in communication with government authorities, parents, community organizations, and external partners when required.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of a college diploma or higher education is required.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership or senior management experience, preferably in an educational or training organization.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends when required.
- Fluency in English.
