Job duties:
- Design, develop, and commission Cryopeak LNG Trailers and systems along with creating processes to monitor and control these systems.
- Ensure that Cryopeak LNG Trailers and systems are designed to operate effectively, efficiently, and safely.
- Design and develop new Cryopeak LNG Trailers, equipment, and systems.
- Manage mechanical, electrical, and control and instrumentation design and documentation. ? Lead engineering responses in the permitting phase of projects.
- Ensure systems and designs comply with applicable laws, regulations, and codes. ? Detail specifications for procurement and scope of work for contractors.
- Conduct various procurement functions when required.
- Create operations manuals and provide input into commissioning and test plans. ? Ensure systems are efficiently and safely commissioned on customer sites.
- Provide customer support and troubleshooting when LNG equipment and systems are in operation.
- Work closely and collaboratively with other team members in Cryopeak to ensure that our company’s objectives are met.
- Interact with design engineers, operations engineers, purchasers and other internal staff. ? Carry out project management within cost and time constrained environments.
Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.
The language of work: English.
Wage: $57.69 per hour ($120,000 per year, 40 hours per week).

Skills requirements:
- Required education:
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related engineering discipline.
Required work experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in designing cryogenic trailers and other cryogenic projects.
- Understanding of applicable Canadian codes, regulations, and standards associated with cryogenic trailer design.
- Ability to travel to project sites if required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to learn within a new industry.
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a knack for proactive problem-solving and a passion for driving project success from planning to execution.
- Must treat safety and quality as the highest priority in the workplace.
- Experience in an EPCM environment is an asset.
- CAD and drafting experience is an asset.
