Job Description:

• Position(s) Available: 2
• Work Location(s): 3316 30th AVE VERNON BC V1T 2C8
• Weekly Hours: 30 to 40 hours
• Compensation: $24.34 per hour

Benefit:  

• 10-day paid vacation per annum

Job Requirements:

• Some secondary school education is required.
• Some home management experience or certificates in related field is an asset.

Job Responsibilities:

• Offer care and companionship to individuals and families during times of disability, recovery, or family upheaval.
• Provide bedside and personal care to clients, including helping with walking, bathing, personal cleanliness, and putting on or taking off clothes.
• Plan and prepare meals and specialized diets, and feed clients or help them eat.
• Carry out basic health-related tasks like changing non-sterile bandages, assisting with giving medications, and collecting samples, all under the general guidance of a home care agency supervisor or nurse.
• Handle routine household chores such as doing laundry, washing dishes, and making beds.
