Main Job Duties
- Cut, trim, bone, tie and grind meats for sale at self-serve counters or according to customer orders
- Prepare meat for special displays and/or delivery
- Manage inventory, maintain sales records, and determine product quantities, product lines, and freshness based on customer requirements
- Wrap and package prepared cuts of meat for retail and/or wholesale
- Ensure food storage conditions are adequate and meet safety standards
Skills and Requirements
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with a combination of standing, walking, and lifting
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Completion of secondary school is required
Minimum Experience: No related experience required; training will be provided
