Where: 146 Leva Avenue, Red Deer County, Alberta T4E 1B9
Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $37.00 per hour (wage determined based on experience and qualifications; higher wage levels apply for candidates with more extensive experience)
Vacancies: 1
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time (30 – 44 hours per week)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Setting: Retail business
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job requirements

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience
Preferred Personal Skills: Strong organizing skills

Job duties

• Keep records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance
• Monitor shelf stocks and maintain inventory
• Order merchandise
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff
• Assign store workers to duties
• Establish work schedules
• Authorize payments by cheque and return of merchandise
• Resolve issues in case of customer complaints or supply shortages
