We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
Maintain financial records and establish, balance, and reconcile accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
Post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare tax returns in compliance with regulations
Prepare trial balances, financial, statistical, and accounting reports
Assist with other related accounting and administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Post-secondary education in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field (preferred)

Job Details

Wage: $20.00 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week (full-time)
