We are currently seeking hardworking and dependable Construction Labourers to join our growing construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting various tasks on-site to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality on every job.

Job Responsibilities

Material handling including loading and unloading construction materials on the worksite.
Assist in excavating, grading, and preparing sites for construction activities.
Safely operate hand tools and power equipment such as drills, jackhammers, saws and other power tools as required.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Work closely with supervisors and crew members to ensure project specifications are met and tasks are completed efficiently.

Job Requirements

Language: English

Education: No formal education required. Completion of high school is an asset

Experience:

Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred
Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong understanding of safety guidelines and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is an asset.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic is a must.
Must be a Canadian citizen or hold a valid open work permit.
Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset as some worksites are not on HRM bus routes.
Own hard hat, steel-toed boots, and reflective vest is an asset
