With a reputation for innovation, sustainability, and technical excellence, we’re seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Draftsperson to join our growing team.

Opportunity

The Experienced Draftsman will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings and documentation for various commercial and residential development projects. Working closely with architects, engineers, and project managers, you will ensure that all plans meet design standards, building codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare architectural and structural drawings for residential and commercial developments.
  • Translate conceptual designs and sketches into technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Revise and update drawings based on markups, field changes, and design modifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and company standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of permit submission sets and construction documents.
  • Maintain organized digital drawing files and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Architectural Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Draftsman in residential or commercial construction/design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or SketchUp is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with building codes, construction practices, and architectural detailing.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in both low-rise and mid-rise developments.
  • Understanding of MEP coordination and integration into architectural plans.
  • Experience producing drawing sets for permitting and construction phases.

Work Environment

  • Office-based role with a collaborative design team.
  • Occasional site visits may be required.
