Boom Truck Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Boom Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating boom trucks and cranes to assist in various construction and lifting tasks. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A commitment to safety and customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate boom trucks and cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position materials as required.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate lifting operations.
• Assist in building rigging setups for various loads, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety measures are in place.
• Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including equipment usage and maintenance logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment on-site.

Skills

• Proficient mechanical knowledge related to boom trucks and cranes.
• Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Experience with rigging techniques for safe load handling is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
