We are looking to hire a User Support Technician. User Support Technicians provide first-line technical support for computer hardware, software, and network issues, diagnosing and resolving problems. The right candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced
- Provide excellent technical support to clients by communicating with them and resolving their concerns regarding software
- Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
- Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
- Ensure all software is professionally installed and working according to the client’s needs
- Participate in the redesign of applications and managed IT solutions software
- Maintain records of data communication transactions, problems, and remedial actions taken or installation activities taken
We are located at 8333 130 St., Surrey, BC V3W 7X4
Compensation: $35.00 per hour, 40 hours per week.
Skills requirement:
We are looking for a candidate with a college diploma in computer science, network administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may replace formal education good communication skills in English.
