Job Title:

Store Manager

Baskin-Robbins Scarborough Town Centre (STC) is a specialty ice cream and cake chain store, offering innovative, premium ice cream, specialty frozen desserts and beverages to customers.  We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our store.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage store retail operations including customer satisfaction, sales, budgets, team management and overall financial performance 
• Execute the store’s business strategy to maximize sales and profitability
• Implement the brand’s policies and procedures including health and safety, food safety and loss prevention, etc., to ensure regulatory compliance, maintain brand standards, and maximize efficiency of store operations
• Recruit and coach team members, and manage them to ensure engagement, productivity, safety, superior customer service and regulatory compliance
• Manage and oversee inventory and stock levels within budget, and authorize payments
• Maintain awareness of market trends, implement the brand’s marketing strategies to promote new products, review and address customer feedback to improve customer service
• Report to senior management on store operation matters, and recommend improvements
• Complete other managerial duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma is mandatory. Post-secondary education is an asset.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience as Store Manager or in a similar role in the retail dessert or similar industry
• Proven experience in managing a chain store or franchise
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
• Excellent customer service, communication and leadership skills
• Strong financial acumen in sales analysis, budgeting, and expense tracking
• A capable people manager and leader with proven experience in recruitment and selection, retention, and staff development
• Required to work on weekends, evenings and holidays
• English reading, written and verbal skills

Terms of Employment

• Permanent, Full Time
• 35 hours per week

 

Wage

• $43.50 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience and skills, plus bonus.
