Job Title:

Finance Lead

Our client is a small but successful IT Managed services company and they are looking for a hands on stand alone Financial Leader. This position will oversee all financial and accounting responsibilities including general accounting, project accounting, cross border transactions, financial reporting, and financial analysis. This is an onsite role in mid-town Toronto

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior manager
• Oversee general and project accounting, oversee the billings specialist
• Manage cross border transactions
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
• Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.
• Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies.
• Develop and build the department

Requirement

• CPA designation
• Accounting experience preferably within a CPA firm
• Experience in the IT services industry
• Experience with US cross border transactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
