Position Overview:

We are looking for a professional and detail-oriented Live Chat Agent to serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance via our live chat platform. This role will be essential in ensuring that our clients receive timely, accurate, and courteous support regarding tax-related matters and inquiries about our services.

As a Live Chat Agent at Bolnick Tax Group, you will be responsible for fostering a positive client experience, providing information about our services, and resolving questions efficiently. You will play an integral role in helping our clients feel valued and confident in their interactions with our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service via live chat by addressing client inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Offer guidance on basic tax-related queries and effectively communicate solutions in an easily understandable manner.
  • Assist clients with navigating our website and utilizing our online tools and resources.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and ensure follow-up actions are taken as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including customer support and tax experts, to resolve more complex issues and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ensure that each interaction aligns with Bolnick Tax Group’s high standards of service, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to enhancing client retention through positive engagement and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a client-facing role, with live chat experience a plus.
  • Basic understanding of tax processes and services is beneficial but not required.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with a professional and engaging tone.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and offer practical solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced proficiency in typing and using live chat software.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when managing multiple client interactions simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Comfortable working with various software and technologies, with a quick learning curve.
