Job Title:

Appliance Service Technician

We are currently hiring Two Appliance Service Technicians to provide technical services for our customers, in a timely manner ensuring customers satisfaction for all major appliances (fridges, ranges, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves).

Tasks

• Conduct voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical test equipment
• Prepare written estimates of repair costs
• Plan service routes
• Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts
• Diagnose faults, using testing devices
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Repair electrical appliances and components
• Replace faulty components
• Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
• Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances
• Work with other disciplines
• Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical systems failures
• Prepare and submit reports
• Professionalism in customer service
• Order parts and maintain inventory
• Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
• Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs
• Detect and repair mechanical and electrical problems

Languages

• English and French

Education

• Other trades certificate or diploma
• or equivalent experience

• 5 years or more

Full Time position : 40 to 44 hours per week

Salary : 22,00$ to 36,00$ per hour
