Job Title:

Landscaping Supervisor

Our company is looking for a Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time permanent postiion.

Start date: May 01, 2025.

Salary: 28.50 hourly /  35 to 40 hours per week.

Preferred Language: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Experience an asset

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities include:

• Direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns
• Hire, supervise and schedule staff
• Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns
• Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property
• Schedule work
• Plan and direct grounds maintenance
• Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work
• Maintain work records and logs
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Train workers in duties and policies
• Supervise other workers
• Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning, etc
