Dog Jogs is seeking a dedicated and energetic Dog Jogger & Pet Care Professional to join our team and provide outstanding care for our clients' pets. Key Responsibilities:

• Jogging/Walking Dogs: Provide dogs with the exercise and mental stimulation they need by jogging or briskly walking them on their scheduled outings. Follow set routes and ensure safe, enjoyable experiences for each pet.
• Cat Sitting: Offer attentive care for cats while their families are away, including feeding, scooping litter, engaging in playtime, and keeping their environment clean and cozy.
• Pet Feeding & Medication: Feed pets according to their individual needs and schedules, and administer medication or special care as directed by clients.
• Maintain Communication: Provide clients with timely updates, sharing highlights from each visit and addressing any questions they may have.
• Safety & Home Security: Follow all safety protocols to ensure pets are safe, including securing clients' homes during and after each visit.

Here are the job requirements:

• Availability: Available 15-25 hours Monday to Friday, and one weekend a month between our hours of 9am-5pm.
• Long-Term Commitment: At least 12 months commitment to this position from the date of hire.
• Canadian Work Authorization: Must be a Canadian citizen or have legal authorization to work in Canada for the next 12 months.
• Age Requirement: Minimum age of 18 years (insurance requirement).
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality are essential.
• Physical Fitness: Able to jog at 6-10 km per hour (average dog jog speed) and walk 3-10 km throughout the day.
• Smartphone with Data: For efficient communication and client updates.
• Reliable Vehicle: Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to drive in all weather conditions across our service areas (Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Ardrossan and Beaumont).
• Clean Police Record Check: A current, clear police record check is required.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and positive communication with clients is key. We expect regular updates to reassure our clients that their pets are in good hands.
• Independence & Accountability: Ability to handle tasks responsibly, with attention to detail and minimal supervision.

As a Dog Jogger, you can earn upwards of $1200 a month while enjoying the daily perks of cuddles with dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. This role offers fantastic supplemental income—the more you work, the more you earn! Starting wage is $15 an hour, plus client tips.
