Steel Stud Framers

Tristeel Construction Ltd is looking to hire experienced Steel Stud Framers on a full-time basis. The company is working on major projects in lower mainland area and urgently need experienced Steel Stud Framers to join its crew.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The job duties of the position are as follows:

• Measure, cut and shape metal framing and trim to size, using cutting tools
• Read blueprints or other specifications to determine methods of installation, work procedures, or material or tool requirements
• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work, according to blueprints or drawings, using tape measures, straight edges or squares, and marking devices
• Install horizontal and vertical metal studs to frames so that wallboard can be attached to interior walls
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
• Attaching building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts
• Daily clean-up of job sites
• Install metal stud framing
• Cut and screw together metal channels to make floor or ceiling frames, according to plans
• Always maintain a safe and professional work site
• Other duties as assigned
   

Job Requirements:

Education: High School

Experience:
Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program
or
2 -3 years of similar experience

Language: Basic knowledge of English

Salary: $34.65 per hour (30 - 40 hours per week)
Where: All over lower mainland area, BC as per contracts
