A day in the life:

The journeyman will service and diagnose issues with HVAC and refrigeration equipment, working to attain first time fixes on service calls. They will be interacting directly with our valued customers and service dispatch team in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Services and diagnoses HVAC and refrigeration issues in all commercial applications.
  • Provides professional service with a focus on customer experience.
  • Installs HVAC Equipment
  • Orders and installs necessary parts and materials as needed.
  • Supports commercial refrigeration service and maintenance.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.
  • Supports apprentices with troubleshooting and training.
  • Ensures accurate timing is provided for all estimates.

What you bring:

  • High school graduation required
  • Possesses mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
  • Completed Red Seal Inter-Provincial exam or equivalent
  • Refrigeration Electrical Endorsement (or attaining)
  • Ozone Depleting Substances certification
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract
  • Previous experience in installations such as, split systems, RTUs, walk in coolers and remote refrigeration considered an asset
