We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Transport Manager to oversee our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods, managing logistics, and leading a team of drivers and logistics personnel. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of transportation regulations and best practices.

Duties

Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize delivery routes and reduce costs.
Manage daily operations of the transport team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure safety and reliability.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
Analyze transportation data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare reports on transportation metrics for management review.
Address any issues or emergencies that arise during transport operations promptly.
