The position is to plan and direct food preparation for Mexican Restaurant.

Experienced in Traditional Mexican Cuisine

Mexican culinary for Silenth will be flavors and recipes that only when tourist visit the streets of Mexico they can discover. We offer dishes like Roasted Corn, Seafood Tostadas, Trompo and Steak Tacos, Gorditas and Mexican Sauces that people are not used to with a gourmet and Fancy Presentation.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor Degree Culinary Graduate or Equivalent Degree
Language: English and Spanish Asset
Work Experience: At least 2 years experience in Traditional Mexican Cuisine

Duties:

  • Plan and direct food preparation for Mexican Restaurant.
  • Consults with Clients for business events
  • Plan Menus and Ensure Food meets quality Standard
  • Estimate food requirements and estimate food and labour cost
  • Surpervise activities of sous chef, specialist chef and cooks
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
  • Recruit and Hire Kitchen Staff

Employment of Work

Work Hours : 2-10 pm, 37hrs/week

Salary: 70K per year

Permanent: Full Time
