Compensation: $28.50 per hour
Overtime pay rate : $42.75/hour after 44 hours/week
Vacation: vacation pay 4% of the gross pay,
Job Protected Unpaid Leave: 10 days for personal emergencies such as illness, injury and certain other emergencies and urgent matters.
Work hours: Minimum 35 hours per week, some weekends may be required

Job duties:
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the store and the gas station and act as a leader for the store employees including hiring, reviewing, and employee scheduling
- Assist in planning annual or specific budgets
- Develop rapport and make connections with the retail team and customers
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Implement and enforce daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well kept
- Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner
- Maintain quality brand image standards
- Complete daily paperwork and computer entries in a timely manner as established by management
- Monitor cash over and short, inventory shrinkage, and drive offs daily
- Understand all information in the daily reporting of store operations
- Follow and enforce all company policies and established procedures in the store operations
- Communicate and perform all price change requests, markdowns/ups as requested by the manager
- Enforce safety and security and report all unsafe conditions
- Report and process all employee and/or customer incidents or accidents following company procedure
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Six months to 1 year experience in retail business or gas station environment preferred
- Completion of secondary school
- Willing to relocate
- Experience in budgeting
- Must have excellent communication skills in English and client service
- Education from a Canadian institute is an asset
- Able to work weekday and weekends
- Highly effective teamwork and organizational skills
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
