We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Team Route Operator to join our team.

As a Bread Route Driver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our business. Position Responsibilities:

Sort and distribute products as per customer orders.
Operate a 5 ton straight truck in a safe manner.
Deliver products to established scheduled customers.
Stock and rotate products on store shelves and displays.
Remove all expired products from customers store.
Set up displays and promotional materials such as pricing and signage.
Merchandise accounts and affixing Point of Sale material according to company standards.
Maintain stock levels by ordering regular and feature items.
Establish positive working relationships with the primary contacts at each customer account.
Generate invoices for sales and credits at all customer account.
Complete all necessary route paperwork fully and accurately.
Properly utilize the hand-held computer for ordering, invoicing and inventory management.
Conduct him/herself in proper professional business manner according to Company Standards.
Any other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
Provide log of daily vehicle safety inspection.
Record daily driver log report.
Provide weekly truck cleaning and report any defect on truck.

Operation:

Hour of operation may vary according to route, customer and business requirements.
This post requires early morning start times and overnight operations (1pm to 1am).

Physical Requirements:

Professional in appearance.
Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 150 lbs without assistance.
Physically fit and able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting.

Qualifications:

Ability to:
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Assess current situation and plan accordingly.
Must have cell phone.
Self-motivated.
Needs to be an excellent communicator and customer service orientated.
Experience driving 5 ton is plus but not mandatory.
Should be comfortable driving long distances in company car or truck (150-300km per day)
Have a valid class 5 driver’s license (recent driver’s abstract must be provided).
This position has a start time of 1AM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday With Wednesday and Sunday as Days off.
