Kwong Fung Food Processing Factory Ltd. was incorporated in BC in 1994. Beginning as an Asian supermarket, we kept on growing and emodeling to fit ourselves into the competitive Vancouver market. We started off from a 5,000 square feet store and have grown our premises to currently owning a warehouse with over 40,000 square feet and more than 15 vehicles to serve our customers. We import our products from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan and the USA, plus we also have a strong representation of domestic products. We have expanded our operations into restaurant supplies, cold storagte and food media. Our fast-paced, dynamic environment requires a dedicated and organized Warehouse Manager Assistant to join our team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing food products.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
Coordinate and schedule deliveries and shipments to ensure timely distribution to customers.
Monitor warehouse equipment and supplies, ensuring they are properly maintained and used safely.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Work closely with the purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to streamline operations.
Assist Warehouse Manager in training, supervising warehouse staff, and providing guidance and support to ensure efficiency.
Assist Warehouse Manager in developing and improving warehouse processes and procedures.
Prepare warehouse mangement reports for Warehouse Manager.
Perform other taskes assigned by Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications:

At least college diploma
At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the food industry.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
