Sage Hill Animal Hospital in NW, Calgary is seeking veterinary assistant who is a hardworking and compassionate individual to join our small animal practice. The position would be ideal for candidates have some past veterinary experience and to learn more about the veterinary field.
This candidate should be available to work evening and weekend shifts.
Job Descriptions Includes:
- Proficient in operating AVImark
- Restraining animals
- Familiar with IDEXX machines
- Dispensing medication
- Wrapping/sterilizing instruments
- Understanding the importance of hygienic protocol in the veterinary field.
- Communication skills and aptitude for customer service
- Resourceful with clients
- Kennel Care
- Answering phones
- Booking appointments
- Ability to multi-task
