Full job description:

We are currently recruiting ECEs and ECAs for our new daycare!


  • An ECE diploma from a recognized Ontario College
  • Registered (or proof that registration is in process) and in good standing with the College of ECE (CECE)
  • Early Childhood Assistants: High school diploma
  • Knowledge of “How Does Learning Happen”, CCEYA;
  • Professionalism, strong work ethics and excellent teamwork skills
  • Ability to:
    • Use frequent light to medium physical effort: lifting up to 20kg (44lbs.), bending and stooping, picking up a child
    • Work outdoors for at least 2 hours daily year-round; may be exposed to heat, humidity or cold
  • Flexibility and adaptability regarding assigned working hours
  • A clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • A valid standard First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Proof of up-to-date immunization record (TB, Tetanus, MMR, and Polio) required by Public Health
  • Applicants are required to be a minimum of 18 years of age as per Ministry guidelines
  • Reliable transportation: ability to commute to location, or willing to relocate
  • Work language: English
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada

About the Role:

Age group: Toddler, Preschool

As an ECE, ECA you will be responsible for guiding, teaching, and ensuring the safety of children between toddler to preschool age at centre located in Mono, ON.


Key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a high-quality environment, accessing, observing and caring for the individual needs of every child.
  • Maintain professional communication with parents and staff.
  • Implement the program and daily activities
  • Provide constant supervision and prioritize the safety of children
  • Complete required documentation of children’s development and interacting
  • Direct and participate with children in all planned activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
