The Human Resource Manager will play a pivotal role in the organization, working closely with the Vice President of Operations. In this role, you will be a key team member driving and executing HR strategies which supports organizational objectives. You will be instrumental in enhancing employee engagement, managing talent, and ensuring HR initiatives align with the company goals, through the development and implementation of HR strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Human Resource & Organizational Development - work closely with the executive leadership team to support and coordinate organization-wide initiatives related to People & Culture strategies
  • Health & Safety – manage Health & Safety initiatives through policy development and implementation
  • Recruitment - provide recruitment strategies including the assessment of workforce requirements, risk management and succession planning
  • Employee & Labour Relations - manage employee relations, including employee engagement, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Training & Development - liaise with management and employees to facilitate coaching opportunities,  promote employee engagement, team-building programs, and other employee-focused initiatives
  • Compliance & Regulations – ensure company wide adherence to all applicable labour and employment laws across multiple levels federal/provincial/territorial and USA
  • Human Resource Analytics/Reporting – assess HR data to improve workforce processes and outcomes


  • Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum 5+ years’ work experience in an HR  Manager role
  • Chartered Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation or working toward certification
  • Accountability, ability to multi-task, and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to develop and deliver multi-mode communications
  • Experience working in a multi provincial/territorial environment
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Experience with DEC or COR would be an asset
  • Strong Leaderships skills
