We are seeking an Administrative Assistant/Community Outreach Worker to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions to drive the clinic's success. The successful candidate will be more involved in our outreach to the Nigerian community but will also play a pivotal role in our clinic's operations, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative processes.


  • Develop and implement organized filing systems
  • Outreach to our patients in the community particularly in the Nigerian community
  • Will act as an interpreter when needed with patient consent.
  • Serve the clients at the front desk, providing a warm welcome and assistance.
  • Answer inbound telephone calls
  • Manage and schedule appointments, ensuring effective communication between clients and healthcare providers.
  • Handle phone calls and emails, providing information and redirecting queries as necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining client records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support to the clinic?s staff, including document preparation, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Perform all other office tasks


  • Proficiency in Nigerian languages and English preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Educational background in administration, sociology, social work or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with electronic health record systems.
  • A compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
  • Ability to:
    • Prioritize and multitask.
    • Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
