Job Summary:
The Health Educator Senior will be responsible for providing clinical education within scope of practice and policy development in patient care areas
within community health.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Dental Therapy Diploma
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dental Therapists Association
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
- Advanced communication and organizational skills

Successful candidate may be eligible for a $2,500.00 recruitment incentive and up to $3,000.00 in relocation assistance (if applicable). This is a regional position to be based in either North Battleford or Lloydminster. This position is responsible for providing dental screenings and providing varnish/sealant services in school settings and clinic settings in conjunction with a dental assistant. Other areas of responsibility include supervising a dental assistant, reporting statistics, coordinating with community partners, training volunteers in fluoride varnishing, and developing training materials.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
