Barista Chai / Coffee Bar

Job description

We are looking for Barista to provide remarkable service at private events and shows. This is a part-time position

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and pulling down beverage workstation/ equipment
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages
• Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with food/ drink preparation and handling as needed
• Able to lift 50 pounds and walk/stand most of the day
• Well dressed in all black formal event clothingand keep a neat well-groomed appearance for going to weddings and special events.

Experience:

• Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred
• Familiarity with cash handling and retail math is a plus
• Ability to work:
  • In a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Well in a team
• Ability to arrive early and on scheduled time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• G driver's license and experience driving a Cargo Van would be a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Part-time hours: 8-35 per week

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay
   

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (preferred)
• Overnight Shift (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Greater Toronto Area, ON (preferred)
